I was responsible for look development and rendering of all the 3D elements in the scene. The retouching was done by Sherry Spencer for Cinco Design.
I took the game assets for each character and extensively rebuilt the geometry and textures for high resolution rendering including upgrades to hair. I built out the entire city in the background. This was done on a very tight deadline so a lot of the distant buildings are stock while all the near-ground assets are custom made. The citadel (obscured by the characters) was also custom built. I also modeled all the weapons from concept art provided by the client as no assets were ready at that moment.
